This tour offers the flexibility to choose between two of Louisiana’s most iconic plantations, St. Joseph or Oak Alley, allowing guests to tailor the experience to their interests. With convenient round-trip transportation from New Orleans, it’s an easy and efficient way to explore River Road and visit a historic plantation without the need to plan logistics.

Meeting and Pickup
Plantation tours are offered only one time per day. Shuttle pick-up BEGINS at 12:30PM and may continue for up to 30-minutes. Please be OUTSIDE and ready for pick-up when the driver arrives, keeping in mind that buses have no parking areas and will be allowed to stop only momentarily for pick-ups. Due to traffic delays and the number of stops, we ask that you be outside and ready for this 30-minute period. Please note that this is a shuttle which will also stop at our swamp tour location. The driving time from New Orleans to the plantations is approximately 1 full hour or more depending on traffic plus approximately 30-minutes built in for our stop at the swamp.12:30-1:00PM: Hotel pick-up 1:30-1:40PM: Arrival at swamp 1:45-2:00PM: Depart for plantation 2:15-2:30PM: Plantation arrival 3:00PM 1-hour guided plantation tour (St. Joseph) OR 3:30PM 30-minute guided plantation tour (Oak Alley) 4:00-4:15PM Pick-up for return (St. Joseph) 4:15-4:30PM: Pick-up for return (Oak Alley) 5:30-6:00PM: Hotel drop-off

- Coolers or ice chests are not allowed. Small amounts of food and beverage can be enjoyed on the picnic tables throughout the property. Snacks available for purchase in the ticket office/gift shop.
