Things to do over Hanukkah in New Orleans (Updated 2026)

Loved every minute of this trip. The food was really good and great service. We went for early dinner service at 6pm so we could watch sunset after on the deck before boat set sail. Jazz band was amazing. And you can walk freely about the space for whatever pics you want.

Our guide, Chris, did a wonderful job telling the tales and history of the many locations we visited. Highly recommend!

Had a great time! Our guide was home grown so knew so much about the history of the river and about the crocodiles. The ad said we'd have an unobstructed view, that wasn't the case. Our guide did everything he could so that we were able to see something of the crocs. Would absolutely do it again!

It was a wonderful experience. Our guide knew his way on the water/swamp and even took us to a couple of specific areas where he knew alligators would be. I loved seeing nature at its finest, and the swamp boat ride was exhilarating.

We’re so glad we did the airboat adventure. There was so much to see and the swamps and bayous are tranquil and beautiful. It was fun flying across the water and watching as the boat skimmed over the water hyacinths. We learned a lot about the diversity of plants and animals and the challenges faced by the delta. It was a great day out!

We had Gary as our guide through the city. Pick up and drop off was seamless. Gary was a wealth of knowledge not only about the tour but also had great recommendations for food and other activities. Would definitely recommend this to anyone new to Mew Orleans. Doing this on day one of our trip really gave us good insight into the history of the city as well as other things we wanted to see/do throughout the week.

This is a great experience! If you thinking about it.. it’s worth every penny. From pick up to the experience and return ride they are great! Very well organized ! And man do they know there stuff.. also you will get up close and personal with the gators!

Hands down the best airboat tour in NOLA area. “Ole Red” was awesome captain, very Knowledgeable and funny.

This was a great tour, and I highly recommend it. Easy walking for everyone. Our guide, Aari, was both charismatic and knowledgeable, which added to the spirit of the tour (pun intended). I've visited NOLA many times, but I've never done one of these tours, and I'm so glad I finally did. I learned so much about the area's history and the characters who helped shape it.

The tour was awesome! Our guide Ricardo was energetic, funny, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to give detailed answers to everyone’s questions, which made learning about the history of the Old City even more enjoyable. Great tour, great experience, and a great way to meet new people. I would definitely recommend it and would go again!

It’s was humid and hot. Make sure to bring water, umbrella and light clothes. Our guide was Mary and she was great. She is very knowledgeable and friendly.

We had a lot of fun, John was a great storyteller and made things super engaging. He was also super helpful in helping us move the date when I messed it up! All around, great job to him
