Things to do on President's Day in New Orleans (Updated 2026)

Jodi was excellent. She is very knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans. This was the best ghost tour I have ever taken . Highly recommend.

It wasn't a very busy day, everything went smoothly, the weather was good, the narrator was fine and the live music was awesome, I cannot ask for more.

This was a great time to find out about some local history, color and supernatural stories. The tour is within the French Quarter and frankly the buildings are worth the tour in themselves!! Our tour guide was kind, knowledgeable and very expressive,. She made the tour exciting and was open for questions and comments. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. I will caution tourists to dress light- the heat and humidity creeps up on you and it oppressive!! Bring water!!!!”lots of water!! Great experience for first time to New Orleans. Jodi was awesome, and gave great little bits of historic information and oral history of the city. She also was able to recommend us more places to check out and some local knowledge that was great too.

We had the best time! Even though it was extremely hot, we hydrated and enjoyed our tour with Ricardo who made it super fun with his storytelling skills. We learned so much of the history of new Orleans, the Hollywood side of it and the notorious buildings made famous by so many people and characters. Thanks Ricardo for the best your and experience!

Riding for the ghost tour was so much nicer than walking in the heat. Our guide was very nice and answered all of our questions with a lot of knowledge.

Good atmosphere, great staff, descent food and a big menu. Bring a big appetite, you'll need it. Jazz band was awesome. Jade, I believe that was our waiter name, however she was very attentive and on spot.

Great overview of the city of New Orleans neighborhoods, history, and Hurricane Katrina effects on the city. Also, the resurrection of the city after Katrina.

The guide was excellent. They did have cooling misters around the cemetery in shaded areas for comfort. Very informative and they kept the group small. Highly recommend this tour

Beautiful aquarium and insectarium. The butterfly room is my favorite, so beautiful and peaceful watching them fly around. Petting the stingrays was also fun and unique. I love it being able to interact with such graceful creatures.
